Faeries Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Edition by Brian Froud & Alan Lee was the first book that I purchased when I first got interested in the fae and nature folks. I was totally smiiten with it’s enchanting and charming content.

I really enjoy Mr. Froud’s thoughts on the existence of faeries and the way they’ve touched and inspired his life.

It was this book that helped inspire me to try and learn to sketch.  I’ll never be as accomplished as Mr. Froud or Mr. Lee, but I do have fun sketching my wee folks just the same.

Sometime later, I decided to purchase Good Faeries-Bad Faeries by Brian Froud and it too is a magical journey into the fun and enchanting and sometimes scary world of the fae and nature folks.

I enjoy both these books they are delightfully filled with the magical wonders and imagination of faerie legends and lore.

The clarity and definition in the sketches is awesome.

The content is interesting and real eye candy.
It’s a treasure for anyone interested in Faeries.

It doesn’t contain gnome pictures, however, on the last page it gives a short note about gnomes and explains that the reason that there are none in the book is that they simply don’t believe they exist.

*It has some nude faerie sketches.

This book would be a great edition to any faery fancier’s collection.
The clarity and definition in the sketches is awesome.
This book was published 20 years after the Faeries book.

This book mentions gnomes and all sorts of new creatures and beings.

This book is in 2 parts: one half is good faeries and the other half is bad faeries. This book is one of the most curious styled books that I ever read or looked at. It definitely has a clever way of switching from good faeries to bad faeries pictures, it may turn your world around 😉
